My top 5 "must haves" for any room to look amazing must be bright accesories, green plants, funky patterns, bold colours and a statement piece, any order will do! All images courtesy of Lonny.
That last room is perfect - a fair amount of things for character and colour and individuality, and a lot of clear space that prevents it from turning into clutter.
I can't decide which is my favorite of the three. I thought the last one because of that great color on the wall and everything just goes well together, but then No. 2 calls out to me for its not quite so ordered eclectic look. But I agree with you on your must-haves for a great room though I'd never thought of it. I do have trouble with the plants, though, since I do not have a green thumb!
I really love the eclecticism of each of these rooms but the colour combination of the first is stunning - that coral and plum is so brave but works so deliciously well! Loving the rug in the 3rd as well... sigh.
