Had a "Rice" Day ♥

I absolutely ♥ rice and could kit out my whole house & garden in its lovely brightness, i especially ♥ the peace throw in the first image

Am I Crazy in ♥ with Colour.......

Whether its a bright bold statement wall (pinky above), a subtle accessory (turquoise coat hanger),  a funky piece of wall art (white room with wall art), some quirky fabrics (lovely cushions and throw) or a simple piece of furniture (omg turquoise dresser and pink chair combo)......if its bright and placed in the right way....its a sure set jaw dropper.  I absolutely positively ♥ the first image, my two favourite colours turquoise and pink together side by side! Ok so I think im turning into a bit of a design nutter not lover lol.....am i going crazy or do u love it too?

Still love this store, could spend a small fortune on the comfy furniture and  accessories available at Squint, unfortunately most of the stuff is out of my  price range, maybe a little diy project would be good idea, the mirrors in particular are amazing x

Living Room Love....

Was on madebygirl earlier as i normally do looking for more lovely inspiration and i came across her blog sonja's high rise tour .  As soon as i clicked on  this i fell in love with her living room, its so bright light and fresh and i just love it.  Sonja's blog tied with a bow  is fab with lots of lovely ideas and inspiration. Just had to share.... this is one il be checking on regularly:) x

Sunday Swan Love.......

How cute are these little swan ornaments.  I picked them up for £1 at a local thrift store, the big one was originally white and the wee one was bottle green.  In between sanding and painting the wardrobe today i thought i would try out my new plasticote spray paint.  I think they turned out quite well.  Busy wee day today, the wardrobe is nearly finished and its looking ok, will post photos once its finished......

Bright Bold Furniture Love.....

So today i went back to the local thrift store after a very busy Sunday morning.  I managed to  purchased 3 lovely pieces of furniture for a bargain of £42. I got a solid oak side board with huge chunky feet, i love it!!!! a small single wardrobe and a set of drawers, totally gutted that a wee handle was missing but found one already on eBay to replace it.  I cant wait till they get delivered.  I will put some pics up and maybe see if i can get any suggestions as to what colour to paint them or better still how best to restore them .  Ive had a house full all weekend with my family and friends for dinner and wine on Friday (with the kids) then on Saturday lunch with a friend and my beautiful daughter before babysitting my 3 month old niece overnight, another house full of visitors at night and hardly any sleep lol....then today dropping off all the kids that stayed over and waiting patiently for my husband to come back from his boys weekend away .......wont be long till I'm off to Poland for our annual girls on tour trip.... Just thought i would share a couple of lovely ideas for my furniture from the french provincial furniture.

Love the use of colour in these all white rooms, especially love the middle picture from apartment therapy, the use of colourful accessories really make the room fun and interesting
